Spurring Each Other On

Along with other presents, our children all received money from family in Australia for Christmas. They each had $25 to spend. Before spending all their money on themselves they gave, in some cases, over 1/5 of it to buy Christmas presents for the students at Baan Puk Dek Nakrean. They each decided upon the amount they would give themselves....it was pleasing to watch. Casey and Jordan then pooled their money to buy a drum set for Tate. We hope and pray and work towards being people who are generous and who seek justice with everything we have. We don't always see it from our children...and they certainly don't always see it from us... but together we spur each other on toward love and good deeds.
Max (Mackenzie) has developed a love for gardening. The problem she faced was having parents who knew nothing...I mean nothing... about gardening. She forged ahead though and is pictured here with her first two Broad beans.
Tate has passed another milestone....an important one according to Zach, he is eating and loving VEGEMITE! He is cheeky, as you can see, and so fits in well with the rest of the children. My father would disagree, mind you, and say he fits well with me! (Ruth)
Zach has started filming short tutorials on how to make miniture things out of LEGO and he posts them on YouTube. He has started getting comments from people on how cool they are...so he is feeling pleased with himself. If you would like to see them; go to Youtube and search legothingies.

Thank you for your continued involvement in our lives. We love you.
